Comparison of half set and full set eyelash extensions
Today, eyelash extensions are very popular among people. And most people prefer extensions to mascara every day. In the eyelash extension method, synthetic hair strands, most of which are made of silk or human hair, are used. Which is placed on your natural eyelashes in layers with special glue for eyelash extensions and other materials. And finally, it gives a special beauty to your eyes. As you know, with extensions, you make your lashes longer and more voluminous, which creates a semi-permanent makeup on your face. With the addition of new lashes, the thickness and color of the lashes change. However, this method is recommended for people whose eyelashes are less than 3 mm in size. Long eyelashes with extensions look unnatural. The lifespan of eyelash extensions is up to one month. This method is very fast and can be easily removed if you are not satisfied or if you have any problems.
What are the different sets of eyelash extensions?
There are three types of eyelash extensions:
Half-set eyelash extensions
Half-set eyelash extensions, as the name implies, are half a complete set. That is, instead of eyelash extensions for every natural eyelash, you get an eyelash extension for every second or third natural eyelash. In fact, a half set extension covers half of your natural eyelashes and can look completely full. If this is the first time you want to use eyelash extensions, a half set is a better choice. In this method, about 35 to 40 lashes are considered for each eye and it starts from the outer corners of the eye and covers the entire length of the lash line to the inner corner of the eye. Half-set extensions usually last about three to four weeks, but if you go to the salon again to refill before that, it’s also okay. The half set is also an alternative to the full set and achieves a similar effect by using a smaller amount of lashes. They can be used to make natural lashes appear thicker or by adding length to the outer edge lashes for a more noticeable appearance.
Full eyelash extension
As the name implies, a complete eyelash extension is a method of eyelash extension that includes full eyelash coverage. This means that for each natural eyelash you have, a separate eyelash extension is applied and the lashes appear very full and long. In this method, eyelash extensions are attached to separate lashes, so the “complete set” is really different from person to person. On average, people can have between 90 and 150 lashes per eye on the upper eyelid and between 70 and 80 smaller lashes on the lower lash line. Also, a full set of eyelash extensions usually takes about two hours, but depending on the number of natural lashes, the method of use and appearance of the lashes you choose is a little different. It may seem a little long, but to have a quality and accurate work, especially safety while working, it takes time. A complete set of eyelash extensions takes between 90 and 180 minutes.
